After his fun projects “Your Screams Make Me Laugh” and “M is for Metamorphose“, the latter of which was submitted to the competition of sequel “ABC’s of Death 2“, Spanish director Sergio Morcillo embarks on his new and terrifying short film You’re Gonna Die Tonight.
“You’re Gonna Die Tonight” is written by Alvaro Fuentes based on an original idea of Sergio Morcillo and Ismael de las Heras, and will involve a further twist to the slasher genre that will include unexpected twists, plenty of tension and morbid eroticism of 70’s giallo films.
“A woman enjoys the pleasure of a hot bath while enjoying her own body. A call from a stranger interrupts the tranquility. The worst night of her life has just begun with just a few words: “You’re gonna die tonight.”
The film is sponsored by director Miguel Angel Vivas, director of the shocking “Kidnapped” and recent “Extinction”, and produced by Terror Club, which are the responsible for the award-winning “Your screams make me laugh“, and Fonofox, producers of “Vampyres“.
Jose Nieto designed the retro-inspired teaser poster.
