Its happening!…….

A Trainspotting sequel has been long talked about for years, but its now been confirmed that a sequel will be made and released for 2017 and the likes of Ewan McGregor, Jonny Lee Miller, Ewen Bremner, and Robert Carlyle are all set to reprise their roles, along with Danny Boyle returning to direct.

As of yet, no actual release date, but what we have got is that Trainspotting 2 will be written by John Hodge and based on Irvine Welsh’s own sequel novel Porno.

TrisStar Pictures have acquired the worldwide rights, and production is officially scheduled to begin in the Spring.
