Directed by Hammer Films veteran Don Sharp (Kiss of the Vampire, Rasputin the Mad Monk) and scripted from a story by British B-movie mogul Harry Alan Towers (under his regular pen-name ‘Peter Welbeck’), Tony Randall (Odd Couple) stars as the American tourist whose eagerly awaited vacation turns into a potentially deadly adventure.
Herbert Lom (Spartacus, El Cid), Terry-Thomas (I’m All Right Jack) and Austrian-born star Senta Berger are among the assorted spies and villains with whom Tony unwittingly tangles. Also featuring Klaus Kinski (Aguirre the Wrath of God, Nosferatu the Vampyre) in suitably menacing form as the sinister stranger who tracks his every move.
