With another FrightFest down, you read my diary and other reviews by clicking my name, so all that is left is my rankings. Please note that I am not including The Exorcist –it wouldn’t be fair to include a tweaked cut of an all-time classic where everything else is new. As usual, festival goggles apply and some of these placings I may come to regret in either direction. I should also emphasise that I enjoyed almost all of these movies, so this is more favourite to least favourite than best to worst, and it’s only the bottom four I wouldn’t necessarily recommend to an interested party. Thanks again to the FrightFest team for organising such a good event and to HorrorCultFilms for sending me there once more. This year further proves our genre of choice is alive and kicking. And by the sounds of it, I missed some excellent movies, too, so I have plenty more on my to-watch list.
