Theatrical Release for HELL HOUSE LLC – LINEAGE

What a few years its been for Stephen Cognetti’s HELL HOUSE LLC franchise. From originally being a straight to streaming release, where a staggering word of mouth from fans discovering what is perhaps one of the best found footage horrors of all time, to then three equally great sequels and now this – the fifth and apparently final film of the series is to get a theatrical release.

Due to hit cinemas sometime in August, Terror Films has teamed with Iconic Events to bring Hell House LLC: Lineage to theatres before premiering exclusively on Shudder in late October.

“We’re committed to supporting fresh, bold voices in horror. Stephen Cognetti and Hell House LLC: Lineage are a perfect example of the kind of stories that excite us. We’re eager for fans to experience it,” says Mark Rupp, CFO/COO and co-founder of Iconic Events Releasing.

Here is the synopsis for the much anticipated sequel.

Haunted by visions and recurring nightmares years after a near-death experience, Vanessa Shepard finds herself living in the town of Abaddon, unable to break free from its unexplainable hold on her. When people around her suddenly and inexplicably begin to die, she soon uncovers her terrifying connection to the Abaddon Hotel, the Carmichael Manor and the mysterious murders that have been occurring for decades.

Cognetti also teases the grand plan for what could be a huge swansong for fans….

“This is by far the biggest Hell House of the series, so experiencing it in a theater is definitely the best way to consume the final chapter. For the story, scope and scares I wanted to write in Lineage, found footage was going to be too restrictive to make the film that I wanted to make. I set out to make a Hell House movie like you’ve never seen and I promise you won’t be disappointed in the change of format,”

It looks like the Hell House LLC franchise is going out with a bang….

Since my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
