Before his acting career, Howard Maurer was a successful musician, having toured the world with his brother Mathew as The Brothers Cain. He also composed many pieces including Mandom: Lovers of the World. The song went on to be a hit in Japan.
Howard Maurer began his acting career in the Ilsa movies alongside wife Dyanne Thorne. He also wrote and performed in many comedy and musical revues throughout Las Vegas over a span of 30 years.
