Slasher fans, get excited, as Ghostface makes their way to the big apple, New York city, in the teaser trailer for SCREAM VI. As the poster also depicts, Ghostface ain’t in Kansas Woodsboro anymore!
The sixth instalment in the beloved SCREAM franchise, originally directed by the late Wes Craven, sees the return of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett in the directors seats, with a script penned by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick.
We also see some familiar faces from SCREAM 5 in the teaser, with SCREAM VI‘s cast lineup including Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Mason Gooding, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, Samara Weaving with Hayden Panettiere and Courtney Cox. Yes, you read that correctly. Hayden Panettiere will be returning as her SCREAM 4 character Kirby, which should delight fans everywhere.
Following the latest Ghostface killings, the four survivors leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter.
SCREAM VI opens in US theaters 10th March 2023 with a UK release expected around a similar time.
